Job Title: Patient Transporter

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients throughout the hospital.

Job Summary:

The Patient Transporter is responsible for transporting patients to various departments within the hospital, including radiology, laboratory, and operating rooms. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to and from various departments within the hospital
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized transportation area
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR Certification
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
