Position Title: Data Analyst II

Contract Duration: 5+ month engagement

Work Arrangement: Remote, operating within PST hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operational and analytical teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications, particularly in the realm of reporting and data solutions.
  • Oversee the project lifecycle – from gathering requirements to creating development tasks, establishing testing criteria, and ensuring the accuracy and visual appeal of reports.
  • Investigate issues and feature requests, providing prompt assistance to users.
  • Engage closely with the Data Engineering team to integrate new data sources into the UAP platform.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards utilizing a diverse range of data sources, primarily including Dynamics NAV, SAP, Excel, and Databricks.
  • Utilize the Microsoft Power Platform to streamline reporting processes and eliminate manual tasks as necessary.
  • Adhere to food safety, quality, and SQF standards, promptly informing management of any food safety or quality concerns.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Query).
  • Experience in developing sophisticated automated Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI.
  • At least 3 years of SQL experience.
  • Familiarity with database structures such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Teradata, or MySQL.
  • Experience in interacting with or creating ETLs.
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Python, or R is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical engineers and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, facilitate focus groups, and conduct workshops with subject matter experts.
  • Demonstrates integrity and is willing to voice concerns when necessary.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Curiosity that enables the interpretation of complex data and the development of actionable solutions.
  • Approachable demeanor that fosters relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to adapt approaches as needed based on situational demands.
