Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet sales targets, building and maintaining relationships with small local businesses in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, and identifying and qualifying potential prospects and presenting current product offers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in outside sales, with a strong ability to develop business relationships with clients and decision-makers. You will also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet sales targets.
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH SMALL LOCAL BUSINESSES IN CHICAGO AND ITS SURROUNDING SUBURBS.
- Identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers.
- Provide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company products and services while onsite.
- Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner.
- Update customer leads and account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales in Company CRM.
- 2+ years of direct outside sales experience.
- 2+ years of B2B Sales Experience.
- Ability to develop business relationships with clients and decision-makers.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Negotiating and closing skills.
- Pass interview/assessment qualifications.
- Valid Driver's License and a vehicle.
- Ability to travel/stay on route 100%.
- Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
- Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.
