The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health promotion principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment. The Health Educator will develop and implement health education programs and initiatives, conduct health assessments, and provide individualized health education counseling. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. At least 2 years of experience in health education or a related field is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health education programs and initiatives for students.
  • Conduct health assessments and provide individualized health education counseling.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate health education into the academic curriculum.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on wellness topics including nutrition, mental health, and physical fitness.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs and initiatives through assessments and feedback.
  • Act as a resource for students regarding health-related issues, providing referrals as needed.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and habits through outreach activities and social media engagement.
