The recruiter will ensure that the company secures the best available talent, aligning with organizational needs while fostering a positive candidate experience and ensuring streamlined hiring processes.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Candidate Sourcing:
- Actively seek candidates through various platforms such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Establish and maintain a pool of potential candidates for current and future vacancies.
- Evaluate resumes and applications to identify candidates who fulfill the job criteria.
- Conduct preliminary phone or video interviews to gauge candidate suitability.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, both independently and in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Provide constructive feedback to candidates throughout the selection process.
- Serve as a primary contact for candidates, guiding them through the recruitment journey.
- Build rapport with candidates to understand their motivations, skills, and career goals.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and timely follow-ups.
- Work closely with hiring managers to comprehend their staffing requirements, job specifications, and team dynamics.
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and defining selection criteria.
- Formulate and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
Onboarding Support:
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- Provide assistance to new employees during their transition into the organization.
Qualifications
Background in Personal Training and the Fitness Industry
Experience in talent acquisition processes including sourcing and recruiting
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
