Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct the work of laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
  • Perform supervisory functions, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) years of full-time supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with laboratory staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
