Electrical Integration Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Integration Engineer - Avionics Systems to join our team.

As a key member of our Avionics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tests and test systems for the vast majority of electronics on our spacecraft.

You will work closely with our design team to ensure the successful integration and testing of our avionics, power, propulsion, and thermal systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing automated hardware and software solutions to test and validate electronics hardware
  • Designing PCBA's to interface with flight hardware
  • Writing software in object-oriented Python to control test equipment, custom hardware, and our satellites
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality products by implementing new integration and test processes
  • Leading large, high-visibility test campaigns with multiple stakeholders across the company

Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent technical degree
  • 1+ years of experience in electrical integration and test
  • Passion for hardware development and hands-on design and development
  • Experience with debugging systems and circuits with multiple layers of hardware and software integration

Astranis offers a competitive compensation package, including equity and robust benefits.

Base pay is a single component of Astranis's total rewards package, which may also include equity in the form of incentive stock options, high-quality company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance benefits, flexible PTO, 401(K) retirement, and free on-site catered meals.

The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
