Job Summary

The Oroville Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst to join our team. As a Network Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support for desktop, server, and network environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware and Software Support: Install, upgrade, and support server and computer hardware and software.
  • IT Project Implementation: Assist with planning and implementation of IT projects as directed.
  • System Troubleshooting: Analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware to detect problems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Initiate preventive maintenance on systems and be capable of repairing issues as they arise.
  • Enterprise Networking: Strong experience with enterprise networking solutions including WAN, LAN, Wireless, and VPN technologies.
  • Virtual Server Environment: Experience with VMWare virtual server and workstation environments.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors as directed.
  • Mentorship: Mentor others in the performance of their job duties where applicable.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all contacts.
  • Adaptability: Accept and adapt easily to change.
  • Company Policies: Support all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate Degree: Baccalaureate Degree in computer science, information systems management, or a closely related field preferred. Prior experience may be substituted for Baccalaureate Degree.
  • IT Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in an IT environment.
  • Microsoft Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating System for client/server environment and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Hardware Environment: Strong knowledge of Workstation/Server hardware environments.
  • Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Well-developed communication skills and commitment to superior customer service.
  • Flexibility and Prioritization: Flexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a work team and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and write proficiently in the English language.
  • Travel and Extended Hours: Must be willing to travel and work extended hours and be on call when needed for projects and problem resolution.
