The Opportunity

The Regional Procurement Operations (RPO) Team plays a crucial role in supporting procurement professionals and divisional stakeholders in acquiring indirect goods and services on a global scale. Team members leverage best practices in sourcing and payment processes, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance procurement activities and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

The Contract Management Center of Excellence Specialist will lead the efforts of the Contract Management Center of Excellence, working closely with third-party providers and under the guidance of the Senior Contract Management Specialist. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement across the contract management function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and educate third-party providers and international contract personnel.
  • Encourage stakeholders to embrace changes in contract technologies and maintain supplier workspaces.
  • Assist the Senior Contract Management Specialist in establishing clear and effective contracting guidelines.
  • Implement tactical guidelines to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of contract repositories.
  • Support ongoing development and enhancement of the contract management function within a Source to Pay Technology Platform.

Strategic Thinking:

Possess a comprehensive understanding of the 'One Procurement' strategies, proactively seeking innovative methods to enhance contract management processes, reduce cycle times, and improve customer experiences.

Relationship Management:

Engage regularly with third-party contractors and support functions to foster customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.

Compliance and Accountability:

Ensure adherence to applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures while executing goals set by the Global Process Organization/Corporate Financial Services.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Procurement.
  • Understanding of Contract Management and Contract Technology.
  • Familiarity with Source to Pay processes; experience with SAP Ariba is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reporting and Excel tools.
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
