Role Overview:

This position entails assisting with meal preparation and service, while maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining spaces as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Compliance with health, sanitation, and infection control protocols, along with adherence to established standards of practice, is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors
  • Able to implement safety and sanitation measures
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts and adhere to directives
  • Must ensure the safety of others at all times

Previous Experience:

  • Experience in long-term care settings is beneficial but not mandatory

Shift Information and Compensation:

  • Full-time Position
  • Shift Hours: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
  • Compensation: Up to $15 per hour
