School Occupational Therapy Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking two dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapy Specialists to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a key member of our team, you will be working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, providing essential occupational therapy services to help them achieve their academic and developmental goals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families, promoting a culture of inclusivity and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia is essential for this role.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is highly preferred, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this context.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are critical, enabling effective partnerships with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This salary range is based on industry standards and the cost of living in the South Atlanta, GA Area.
