Senior Commodity Trader

This search is for a nationwide supplier of building materials. We are in need of experienced Commodity Traders across various sectors.

This position is not intended for those new to the field. Our commission structure is among the highest in the industry, and our client expects candidates to bring their own established client base. While resources and support will be provided, this role is entirely self-directed. You have the flexibility to work as little as 2 hours a week or as much as 60, depending on what you believe is necessary to achieve success; we are solely focused on results.

• No benefits offered
• Independent contractor status (1099)
• Commission structure: (Once a new commission bracket is reached, it remains in effect for the following year)
  • 0-250k: 50%
  • 250k-400k: 55%
  • Over 400k: 60%
• No fixed schedule; performance-driven
• Comprehensive support staff available for administrative and dispatch tasks

• Conduct all business activities lawfully and with integrity

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in building relationships and commodity trading (not merely purchasing/procurement)
• Willingness to travel as required by business needs
• We are seeking to diversify; professionals from all commodity sectors are encouraged to apply: metals, agriculture, crude oil, coal, shingles, hardwood, lumber, etc.
