Job Summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Linen Tech to join our team. As a Linen Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution and allocation of linens throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock and prepare linens on allocated carts throughout the hospital.
  • Prepare, review, and place linen orders to meet hospital needs.
  • Allocate linen distribution via inventory software program to ensure timely delivery.
  • Load and unload linen carts, and stock linens on shelves and mobile carts.
  • Distribute scrubs to medical staff, including doctors, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with hospital staff to ensure smooth linen distribution.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Basic computer and math comprehension.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds.
Work Environment

The Linen Tech will work in the linen room in the basement of the hospital, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
