Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager III to join our team at Amazon Pharmacy. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing operations forecasting and capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly own Pharmacy Ops forecasting and act as the primary role to escalate supply/capacity constraints and involve cross-functional teams to secure long-term solutions.
  • Work with assigned functional leaders to track and coordinate all program deliverables, highlighting key program risks and putting plans in place to mitigate those risks, providing regular reports/updates on program status.
  • Develop a risk buy plan to ensure on-time delivery and eliminate excess and obsolete impact.
  • Perform regular supply and demand analysis for critical materials with 2nd tiers.
  • Active engagement in process improvements to continually increase efficiency and effectiveness of product development and supply chain processes.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to lead mid- to long-term inventory management and operational improvement strategies across the Supply Chain.
  • Develop and/or improve inventory management strategies for our network to ensure the right placement of ASINs and the success of new launches.
  • Ongoing analytics and analysis to ensure accurate lead time, safety stock, review cycle, order methods, min/max points, and usage.
  • Create reports and analyze new platform arrivals, identify and address gaps in coverage.
  • Execute rebalancing through transfers between locations and purchasing.
  • Lead capacity planning and modeling for Pharmacy Operations.
  • Lead a team of direct reports, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team.
  • Build and influence future roadmap (strategy, tooling, etc).
Requirements
  • 3+ years of working experience in supply chain or inventory planning.
  • Completed bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics, or similar field.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Prior experience with negotiations and logistics procurement.
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Excel.
  • Supply chain management certifications such as CSCMP (optional).
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Experience with Lean operational practices.

The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
