Position Overview:
- Assist newly arrived refugees with comprehensive case management and resource referrals.
- Facilitate airport arrivals and secure appropriate housing arrangements.
- Coordinate available resources and conduct thorough client intakes.
- Develop individualized plans aimed at self-sufficiency and monitor financial documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in migration services or social work.
- Effective communication skills with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
- Understanding of refugee needs and available community services.
- Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in human services or a related discipline.
- Additional relevant experience is advantageous.
