Job Summary

Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Manager I to join our team. As a key member of our refugee resettlement program, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful integration of refugee families into our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive self-sufficiency plans with refugee clients to achieve stability and independence in America.
  • Provide direct case management and support to target populations, including refugees with special needs, youth and young adults, single-headed households, and elderly refugees.
  • Collaborate with the Intensive Case Management team, Employment Team, and other divisions to ensure refugees receive all core services in a timely manner.
  • Conduct cultural orientation and provide information on rights and responsibilities, federal and local services, and other essential resources.
  • Advocate on behalf of refugees and refugee-serving organizations to address their needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field.
  • Four years of related education or social service experience, preferably working with immigrant populations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English and Spanish.
  • Valid AZ driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Clear driving record and ability to maintain a clear driving record during employment.
