Leadership Development Program Specialist

Ryder System is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Leadership Development Program. This rotational program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable operational experience in distribution management, dedicated transportation, and supply chain engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate three different day-to-day Supply Chain operations, including warehousing, logistics optimization centers, dedicated transportation, and engineering.
- Plan and review logistics processes with the site leadership team to ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
- Participate in project-based activities, such as continuous improvement kaizen events and shadowing the analytics team.
- Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by tracking, adjusting, and implementing continuous improvement.
- Travel as required to assist locations and present to various stakeholders regarding process changes and feedback.
- Effective leadership skills and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses a high degree of initiative and ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- 0 to 1 year of involvement in extra-curricular activities demonstrating leadership skills.
- 0 to 1 year of previous internship experience preferred.
