Pharmacy Technician

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision. Performs various tasks to support the pharmacy team, including assisting with prescription processing, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

• Assists pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including prescription processing and inventory management.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and prescription data.
• Provides exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies and is clean, neat, and orderly.
• Develops strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers, promoting a positive and supportive environment.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.

• Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
