We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Career Engagement team at Northcentral Florida. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance the career development of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for the Career Engagement team, including career coaching, career exploration, and assessments.
- Develop and implement programs to promote career success, including internships, employment searches, and graduate and professional school advising.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career education into the academic program.
- Develop and maintain outreach programs and employer relations to increase internship opportunities and graduate and professional programs.
- Work with the New College Foundation to identify corporate partnerships and development opportunities to support internship and employment initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation, integration, training, and maintenance of technology platforms to improve student access to career education and opportunities.
- Manage and oversee departmental budget in conjunction with the Center's fiscal liaison.
- Ensure confidentiality of student, faculty, and staff records in accordance with federal, state, and BOT laws and regulations.
- Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of appropriate experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in career services or an equivalent amount of experience in a closely related area.
- Strong background in analytics and data management, with experience defining ROI and concrete measurements of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to make thoughtful, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
