Paramedic Technician - Basic
AMR Corp. is in search of dedicated individuals for the role of Paramedic Technician - Basic (EMT-B). This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with a competitive starting wage of $28.73 per hour, commensurate with experience. Employees benefit from a paid break during each shift and a zero-hold policy for clocking out, along with ample opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and deliver emergency medical assistance utilizing appropriate methods and equipment.
- Accurately document patient details, conditions, and treatments while ensuring confidentiality and upholding patient rights.
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-equipped environment for patient care.
- Drive an ambulance in compliance with company safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and public safety personnel in a respectful manner.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid State Driver's License.
- State EMT or NREMT certification is required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Adherence to company driving record standards.
- Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).
- Previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
