About the Role

BECO Asset Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team at its apartment community in Suffolk, Virginia. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the property, including grounds, common areas, and resident apartments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and filters, and keeping dumpsters and corresponding areas clean and in good working order.
  • Clean and maintain the pool and pool area.
  • Assist in preparing vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
  • Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform on-call emergency services as required.
Requirements
  • Available for night/weekend on-call duty.
  • Ability to work in any type of weather.
  • Building Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers, and the general public.
