McKinstry is a leading innovator in the built environment, dedicated to making a lasting impact on our industry and communities. We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Project Manager to join our Shop and Logistics division in Seattle.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to develop strategies, goals, and objectives for projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery with high client satisfaction. As a Manufacturing Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying required resources to achieve project goals and generating preliminary assessments, technical solutions, and fee proposals.
  • Communicating with the General Contractor, Architect, Engineer, Owner, and other stakeholders.
  • Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Defining project responsibilities to project management, engineering, and field staff.
  • Documenting and resolving subcontractor and vendor billing issues.
  • Assisting the business development team in responding to requests for proposal and bid process.
  • Assessing site safety and implementing actions to prevent injury to property and personnel.
About You

We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Five years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required. Proficiency with scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak, is also necessary. OSHA 30 class completion is required, and experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor is preferred.
