Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Adjunct Instructor to join our Electronic Systems department at College of the Canyons. As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for Electronic Systems courses
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in Electronic Systems education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Systems or a related field
  • Two years of full-time equivalent professional experience in Electronic Systems or a related field
  • OR - Associate degree in Electronic Systems or a related field and six years of professional experience in Electronic Systems or a related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electronic Systems or a related field
  • Teaching experience in Electronic Systems or a related field
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation
  • Knowledge of industry developments and best practices in Electronic Systems education
