Position Summary: The Patient Registration Representative acts as a vital link between patients and our healthcare system, facilitating a smooth process for elective procedures.
This role involves addressing patient inquiries and clarifying any concerns related to their upcoming visits and necessary pre-surgical evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and confirming patient demographics and insurance information for elective procedures.
- Coordinating patient appointments using our scheduling system.
- Managing endoscopy and colonoscopy schedules, as well as creating cases in our electronic system.
- Overseeing pain management schedules as required.
- Registering patients for pre-surgical assessments.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in typing (40 – 60 wpm) and alpha-numeric data entry (5000 keystrokes per hour) is essential.
Compensation: The salary for this position is approximately USD $26.67 per hour. This figure serves as a general estimate, and actual compensation may vary based on individual qualifications, skills, and experience.
