Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at East House. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for collecting and tracking payments, maintaining accurate records, and generating financial reports to track profits and losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoicing and Billing: Manage invoicing for goods or services provided to clients, collect payments, track outstanding balances, and interact with customers regarding payment-related matters.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Accurately bill and record client fees, manage client payments, communication, and debt agreements.
  • Financial Analysis: Monitor, collaborate on collectability, and process refunds upon client discharge.
  • Customer Relationships: Manage customer relationships, including payment reminders, billing disputes, and establishing payment plans if necessary.
  • Cash Flow Management: Efficiently manage accounts receivable to optimize cash flow, ensuring timely collections and reducing bad debt.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Maintain records, prepare reports, update client accounts, and handle billing using Fund EZ accounting software.
  • Financial Compliance: Manage monthly journal entries, reconcile client aging, and maintain accurate records.
  • Financial Monitoring: Maintain aging reports, tracking outstanding invoices and overdue/pending payments.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in basic accounting principles and PC use, with strong data entry abilities and intermediate MS Excel proficiency.
  • Desirable Skills: Prior experience in bookkeeping/administration, handling large datasets, managing finances, and successfully performing tasks simultaneously.

  • Accuracy and Execution: Project management skills, mathematical skills, and technological and digital literacy.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with individuals internal and external to the organization, build relationships, and effectively resolve problems.
