Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Penn State Health. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a designated group of patients with and without telemetry.
  • Float to various units, including Heart and Vascular Intensive Care, Heart and Vascular Progressive Care, and Medical Intensive Care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.
  • Three years of RN experience in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
  • Current BLS, PALS, and/or NRP certifications preferred.
