Job Description:
Genie Healthcare is seeking a skilled Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Critical Care or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights
- Flexibility to float to other sites when needed
