Job Title: Security Officer - Cleared Government Site

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at a Government Site in Westborough, MA. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patrols within and around the facility to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
  • Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
  • Act as a first responder in emergency situations
Requirements:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
    • Prior military experience
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
