Job Title: IT Systems Engineering

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a key member of our IT Solutions team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the overall IT technical baseline and system design, including delivery to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver the overall IT technical baseline and system design, including delivery to the customer.
  • Interface with project managers, architects, technical specialists, and customers regularly.
  • Communicate both written and verbal with a technical team and a customer team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate.
Requirements:
  • Must have an active DOD Secret or higher security clearance or Active within the last 24 months and must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience in the System Engineering role providing written and oral presentations to customers, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrate strong foundational expertise in Information Technologies with subject matter expertise in one of the following areas: Data Center designs and solutions, including on-premises and co-location solutions, Data Center Backup overall design, Software as a Service, Cloud technologies.
Qualifications:
  • For Level 3: 5 years of IT Project Management, System Engineering, or related IT experience with a BS degree in a STEM or Business focused discipline; or 0 years with PHD.
  • For Level 4: 9 years of IT Project Management, System Engineering, or related IT experience with a Bachelors degree in a STEM or Business focused discipline; or 4 years with PHD.
