Job Title: IT Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information technology systems to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver IT technical baselines and system designs, including planning, design, development, integration, testing, and production release.
  • Interface with project managers, architects, technical specialists, and customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences through written and verbal reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Travel as business needs dictate to support project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Active DOD Secret or higher security clearance or ability to obtain within 24 months.
  • Experience in System Engineering, providing written and oral presentations to customers, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Strong foundational expertise in Information Technologies with subject matter expertise in one of the following areas: Virtualization, Data Center designs and solutions, Data Center Backup overall design, Software as a Service, Cloud technologies.
Education and Experience:
  • BS degree in a STEM or Business focused discipline, or 3 years of experience with a related Master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
  • 9 years of relevant IT experience with at least 4 years in System Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, including good customer relationship management.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, including strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
