Job Overview

The NetApp Director of Cybersecurity Operations is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity operations program, including both defensive and offensive functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the cybersecurity operations program, including monitoring, threat mitigation, and incident response capabilities.
  • Mature capabilities of the 24x365 SOC (Security Operations Center)
  • Lead and manage both defensive and offensive cybersecurity operations, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat hunting.
  • Manage and grow a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and effectively working together.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the company's defenses are current and effective.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including vendors, government agencies, and industry groups, to enhance the company's cybersecurity posture.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years in a security operations center leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with incident response, threat mitigation, and security monitoring tools and technologies.
  • Proven experience in both defensive and offensive cybersecurity operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation

The target salary range for this position is $213,210 - $299,640 USD, reflecting a variety of factors and including a comprehensive benefits package. The offered salary will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education.
