Key Responsibilities- Assess anesthesia care to ensure its quality and contribution to positive patient outcomes.
- Formulate patient-specific plans for anesthesia care and obtain informed consent from patients or legal guardians.
- Implement and adjust anesthesia care plans during the peri-operative period, based on patient physiological responses.
- Monitor patients' physiologic conditions as appropriate for the type of anesthesia and specific patient needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- 1+ years of healthcare experience.
- 1+ years of related experience.
- Masters degree in a health-related field.
This role requires the ability to work designated shift lengths, including 8 and 12 hours, which may include night shifts or occasional irregular hours. Possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances.
