Job Summary

As an Anesthesia Technician at Monument Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our anesthesia team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper supply control, equipment preparation, and maintenance to support safe and efficient anesthesia care.
  • Prepare and assist anesthesiologists and anesthetists as needed, adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Stock and maintain anesthesia carts, ensuring they are equipped with necessary supplies and medications.
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of anesthesia personnel, demonstrating problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Assist with daily setup and teardown of equipment, practicing preventative maintenance and adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent in General Studies.
  • Ability to work designated shift lengths, including night shifts and occasional irregular hours.
  • Medium work exertion, with possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances.
