Job Summary

The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) will play a vital role in our team, assisting with the development and implementation of behavior interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other behavioral challenges. This position requires a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior analytic treatment plans using assessment tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or AFLS.
  • Assist with monitoring and modifying treatment plans based on direct observations, therapist or parent feedback, and objective data collected by therapists or parents.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, including documentation and reports as required.
  • Ensure that all treatment plans and programs comply with contract requirements, professional standards, and insurance regulations.
  • Conduct assessments and summarize findings as needed, including preference assessments, functional analyses, and functional behavior assessments.
  • Participate in Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for clients as appropriate.
  • Promote positive public relations, facilitate interagency collaboration, and advocate for comprehensive services.
  • Train behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA procedures and interventions.
  • Participate in professional growth activities, including professional development meetings, team meetings, and booster training sessions.
Requirements
  • Valid Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.
  • A Master's degree in ABA, special education, psychology, or a related field, with specialized knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience working with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • Knowledge of autism assessment tools and procedures, and thorough knowledge of child development.
  • Experience developing behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs across various domains.
  • Knowledge of current methods and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis and Discrete Trial Teaching.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, parents, and professionals.
  • Competence in analyzing assessment results, designing individual treatment plans, and monitoring progress.
