Key Responsibilities

Sterling Engineering is actively seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in the following areas:

• Proficient in the planning, design, permitting, inspection, and construction management of water and wastewater infrastructure, including but not limited to pump stations, distribution systems, collection and conveyance networks, storage facilities, and treatment plants.

• Experience in coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure designs with various other engineering disciplines such as traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and surveying is highly desirable.

• Project management experience is advantageous.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment with minimal oversight.

• Self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong aptitude for planning and overseeing the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• 4-7 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred. Experience with Microstation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and/or SewerGEMS is a plus.
