Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Technician - CIP Specialist to join our team at the Kraft Heinz Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of our Risk Management Process (RMP) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Disassemble and reassemble factory equipment daily to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Conduct operational checks on all production lines to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Operate the blancher and CIP system to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Assist in the completion of CIP duties in various areas of the facility, including the sauce area, pumps, and scaling room.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of all equipment and notify leadworkers of any deviations from expected results.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment, including formers, chemical delivery systems, and air cylinders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good math skills and ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to operate hand tools in a safe environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment and identify and solve problems.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, humidity levels, and noise levels. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more is also required.
