Job Description

As a Food Safety Technician - CIP Position at Kraft Heinz, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include participating in the Risk Management Process, assisting in the development of operational standards and corrective actions, and ensuring the cleanliness of all equipment being cleaned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and reassemble factory equipment daily as per production requirements.
  • Operate the blancher and CIP system in a manner that assures proper cleaning.
  • Reassemble the blancher after the cleaning process is complete.
  • Assist in the completion of CIP duties in various areas of the factory.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of all equipment being cleaned.
  • Notify the leadworker if there is any deviation from expected results.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good math skills and the ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to operate hand tools in a safe environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Working Conditions:

The noise level in the work environment is usually high, and ear protection is required. You will be working in all areas of the facility, including hot and cold areas, and will be exposed to wet and humid conditions. You must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more.
