Client Service Associate

Overview:
The Client Service Associate position is a vital role focused on relationship management and client servicing within the institutional sector. Each associate collaborates closely with Client Advisors and reports to the Client Service Manager. The role requires building strong relationships with senior client representatives, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored value-added services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all client service activities for the designated client portfolio, ensuring premium service delivery.
- Develop comprehensive client relationship plans in collaboration with supported Client Advisors.
- Implement client servicing standards, including reporting and regular portfolio reviews, while creating effective communication strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key client contacts, scheduling regular interactions to stay informed about changes and developments.
- Gain a thorough understanding of client portfolios and performance, providing proactive support and updates to clients.
- Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams to ensure high-quality client review materials and insights for Portfolio Managers.
- Oversee all aspects of client administration and service delivery, ensuring the quality of content provided to clients.
- Lead client interactions during the onboarding process, communicating the service model and understanding client expectations.
- Work with legal partners to negotiate Investment Management Agreements, ensuring compliance with established requirements.
- Identify potential risks to client mandates and collaborate with Client Advisors to address these issues effectively.
- Serve as a communication bridge between Client Advisors and Consultant Relations.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in asset management, preferably in a multi-asset class environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance; CFA and/or CAIA preferred.
- Required licenses: Series 7, and a combination of Series 63 and 65 or Series 66.
- Willingness to obtain Series 31 shortly after hiring.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income, equity, and alternative investment products.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated.
