Position Overview:
A dedicated team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office division is on the lookout for a proactive individual to join as a Client Associate. This role involves close collaboration with our Private Advisor team and direct interaction with high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will embody the practice's values, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. A commitment to personal and professional growth is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate account openings and ongoing maintenance.
- Manage asset transfers and oversee monetary transactions.
- Assist in completing investment subscription documentation.
- Handle cash management and required minimum distributions (RMDs).
- Support clients with online access inquiries.
- Address account activity and statement questions.
- Manage client life events and provide administrative support as needed.
- Deliver exceptional service to clients while managing the administration of their accounts.
- Oversee operational aspects of client accounts, including reporting on holdings and performance, daily cash activity, and trade instructions.
- Generate expense reports using Concur.
- Process new accounts and maintain existing ones, ensuring all documentation is complete and approved.
- Handle client cashiering requests, including money market redemptions and wire transfers.
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting client seminars and events.
- Provide administrative and office management assistance to the team.
- Prepare client correspondence and obtain necessary approvals.
- Review daily activities and reconcile client transactions against clearing firm systems for accuracy.
- Oversee client insurance and annuity processes.
- Assist in the preparation of key documents, presentations, and reports for client meetings.
- Attend client meetings as necessary and present performance updates.
- Maintain organized client files and complete necessary filing.
- Participate in compliance and continuing education training as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years of prior client service experience in the financial sector or equivalent experience preferred.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Skills:
- Exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
