Key Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and components for fabrication, including tasks such as cutting, sanding, and creating layouts and jigs.
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to construct projects from inception to installation.
- Execute fabrication tasks, including aligning, fitting, measuring, and inspecting parts. Ensure precision in all measurements—measure twice, cut once.
- Guarantee that all products are manufactured according to design specifications and meet Moniker's quality standards.
- Adhere to project budget guidelines as outlined by the Lead Fabricator or Foreman.
- Follow Moniker's operational standards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Propose improvements to enhance production techniques, equipment efficiency, and product quality.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring cleanliness throughout the fabrication process.
- Learn the operation and maintenance of machinery under the guidance of the Lead Fabricator or Foreman, in accordance with Moniker's standards.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of fabrication standards and practices.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in fine woodworking, millwork, or cabinetry, including installation.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Attention to detail and patience in executing tasks.
- A commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Emphasis on safety, organization, and cleanliness in the workspace.
- Proficient in mathematical calculations and measurements.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive in work approach.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude is essential.
Physical Requirements
- This role involves significant physical activity, including repetitive motions such as sanding, grinding, lifting, assembling, and finishing.
