Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our PICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience working in a pediatric intensive care unit or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
