Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in the Acute Care setting at UF Health Shands. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will provide rehabilitation services to patients with various conditions, working to maximize physical performance and achieve functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' physical limitations and needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' physical and functional abilities
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for rehabilitation and recovery
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
  • Experience in acute care setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

This position will be based in Gainesville, Florida, with opportunities to work in various service areas, including Cardiac, Vascular, Neurosurgery, and more. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule and work at your own pace.
