We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Mederi Caretenders in the West Orlando area. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home.

About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Home Health is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
  • Complete a progress note for each visit, and submit progress notes to the agency daily.
  • Continually observe and report the patients nursing needs. Instruct the patients family in the care of the patient and maintenance of a healthy environment for the patient.
  • Observe, record, and report to the supervising nurse and/or physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in state of Florida
  • Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
  • CPR Certification required.
