Senior Credit Risk Review Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Review Officer to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our Credit Risk Review Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's credit risk management processes are effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage examinations of various types of credit portfolios and credit processes to identify current or potential problems and positive elements.
- Perform risk-based independent reviews of all types of CNB loan portfolios to determine the accuracy of internal credit risk ratings and identify non-compliance with CNB policies and procedures.
- Identify, recommend, and effect process changes related to credit risk management activities, regulatory statutes, credit policy, and general credit underwriting guidelines.
- Act as an internal advisor/partner to CNB's line units regarding loan and credit matters and provide guidance in areas that require further development.
- Maintain awareness of current regulatory/industry trends impacting the bank's credit areas and promote teamwork within the department to ensure knowledge and experience are shared among team members.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of credit examination experience as a commercial lender, regulator, or credit review officer.
- Minimum of 5 years of MS Office experience.
- Completion of a formal credit training program at a commercial bank.
- Previous experience in leading teams of examiners.
- Strong understanding of analyzing various types of middle market credits.
- Thorough knowledge of Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD) systems.
City National Bank offers a competitive salary range of $111,408 - $189,738 per year, with the potential for bonus and/or commissions. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.
