Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all plant operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and safety surveys to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement goals and objectives for continuous improvement in plant operations and environmental services.
  • Plan and conduct training and cross-training programs for staff.
  • Coordinate the ordering, stocking, and monitoring of supplies and equipment.
  • Negotiate and supervise contracts with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with JCAHO, Federal, State, County, City, or other governing body standards.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, Joint Commission and CMS standards, OSHA, EPA, and state and local codes and standards.
  • Current Certified Healthcare Facility Manager certification or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Experience in building trades, including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Intermediate level computer experience, including Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a diverse labor force.
