Job Summary

As a Stationary Engineer at Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS), you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for maintaining and operating high-pressure boilers, chillers, and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor and control the operation of main and auxiliary equipment, including steam, water, gas, fuel oil, and air pressure
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and repairing equipment, and replacing parts as needed
  • Train and supervise the work of Plant Operations Assistants
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school education or experience in boiler room operations preferred
  • Valid Ohio driver's license required
  • Licensed as a Stationary Engineer by the Department of Industrial Relations, State of Ohio, or become licensed within 1 year of job acceptance
