About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil 3D Specialist to join our team at Dewberry Engineers Incorporated. As a key member of our site civil and land development business unit, you will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the AutoCAD and Civil 3D suite of products, ensuring seamless production and delivery of high-quality graphics.
  • Develop and maintain company standards for site, coordinate, and surface creation/editing, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external project teams to coordinate and quality-check Civil production graphics, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Train and educate users on pipe networks, corridor modeling, surface modeling, and site and survey workflows, promoting best practices and efficiency.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Assist and review efforts of Discipline Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Application Experts, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.
  • Develop and execute in-house training schedules and curricula, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Fundamental understanding of site civil plans, grading, and profiles, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Develop and maintain BIM production procedures, standards, and techniques for increased productivity and quality, driving innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience directly with the MEP/S disciplines and working in a BIM platform for an A/E/C firm.
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet simultaneous deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Good verbal, written, and organizational skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
