Psychiatrist Opportunity at George Washington University Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. This is a full-time position offering a unique balance between consultative liaison services and outpatient care.
Responsibilities- Provide care to medical-surgery units, the inpatient psychiatric service, and the emergency department as part of our psychiatry hospitalist team.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents to foster a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Conduct outpatient consultations and develop clinical research programs to advance the field of psychiatry.
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- Completion of C/L Psychiatry Fellowship training is preferred.
- Licensed to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of four to five years of training experience.
- Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
