Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures.
  • Provide clinical services according to ultrasound practice standards.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Demonstrate safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Able to speak and write English fluently.
  • Diploma from certified school of Radiology required.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Sonographer and acute care experience preferred.
  • Current RDMS license required.
  • Breast and Vascular registry preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
