Job Title: Family Resources Support Specialist

Illinois Action for Children is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Resources Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and tracking all paperwork required for the Family Resource teams that administer the IDHS Child Care Assistance Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and retrieve alphabetical case files, including filing of all parent/provider required paperwork, data entering, and scanning client information into the computer filing system.
  • Approve and enter all IDHS childcare certificates in the Child Care Tracking System, maintaining all applicable department databases, and identifying discrepancies and payment issues in accordance with the IDHS Procedure Manual.
  • Maintain records/databases pertaining to W9/CANTS/IVR forms and run reports as needed, ensuring appropriate actions are taken with providers who do/do not meet qualifications set by IDHS.
  • Process weekly IDHS and internal reports, responsible for all quality control measures to ensure file compliance.
  • Maintain and adhere to all Illinois Action for Children and IDHS policies and procedures in regard to file maintenance and required timelines. Assist with quarterly Springfield shipment projects.
  • Ensure confidentiality of parent and provider information received and managed by Illinois Action for Children.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to multi-task, detail-orientated, and team-oriented.
